So the name everybody's appropriated for the MSTRKRFT/Guns N Bombs style of electro has been moved away from the Neo-Rave or Rave Rock, it seems everybody wants to call it "Blog House" due to its extreme popularity in the music blog circles.

Sad thing is, given the internet's ability to create and destroy memes in a manner of weeks, as soon as this name came to fruition, the entire style of music began to suck majorly. It gets worse too, the DJs aren't even really trying to mix it that well, and it almost seems that they pride themselves on it.

Busy P, DJ Mehdi and Justice doing a blog house mix. Fuck this shit is infuriating. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the tracks on here I actually like, but for chrissakes, this is like one of those mixes where Glyn, Farshad and I would trade off mixing drinks and mixing records and push record on the computer, and just never give out to anyone. Christ, I like this music and I want to keep spinning it, but it's disgusting: I can't get bookings while Justice are touring around the planet and abusing faders like this.

This isn't art, this is shitting out a mix and laughing at the fact that you got paid for it.

Dave Grohl is like the only guitarist in the world that doesn't know Stairway front to end.
